New flights for Alitalia 2011, from Florence and Pisa
Alitalia strong point about Tuscany in 2011 and is launching new flights to and from Florence and Pisa. Starting in March, new flights from Florence to Amsterdam (capable of carrying passengers for international flights by KLM) and Catania and in July, thanks to the opening of the second base AirOne (smartcarrier) in Italy, will inaugurate flights from Pisa to 8 destinations, including 5 international.
Flight schedules are designed to enable business clients to travel there and back in the day: the plane will depart from Florence at 6:55 and 17:30. From Amsterdam's departure is scheduled at 9:55 and 20.30. The new flights from Florence to Catania will be carried out with 5 weekly frequencies in the Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. From June 6, 2011 the link will be operational even on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (7 flights per week). The departure from Florence is scheduled at 12.40, while the plane take off from Catania at 15:05. Alitalia's investment on the two airports in Tuscany will be 60-70 million €.
